Abstract: Medicinal plants are unique strategic resources in China，utilization and exploitation of medicinal plant resources is the core driving force to promote coordinated development of“medicinal agriculture”.It is necessary for elimination impurities to extract and purify before iridoids are used in product development and utilization.Based on research at home and abroad，extraction and purification technologies of natural iridoids were reviewed and analyzed in order to provide basis for extraction and purification of natural iridoids，research and development of new methods，and precise development of agricultural resources.
