Abstract: At present，agricultural equipment is gradually developing towards customization and intelligence.Under new situation，innovative design of suitable and durable agricultural equipment is key direction of current agricultural machinery research.According to development and research results of TRIZ theory in field of agricultural equipment innovation and design in China，shortcomings of TRIZ in field of agricultural equipment were summarized，including basic research，database establishment，education and training，promotion and publicity.Future research direction in field of agricultural equipment innovative design was prospected，and suggestions were put forward from aspects of basic education，theoretical research，data base building，simulation and policy guidance，so as to provide ideas and directions for strengthening research of agricultural equipment innovation and design.
