Abstract: A small wechat applet was developed which could identify fish in the vast sea area of China.With search，one-sentence prompts，recognition and sharing of records and other functions，the small program took photos or upload pictures to identify fish，and had vivid and functional interface.The back-end consisted of identify script calls，database reading/writing，identification logs，and other modules.The software could provide fish identification function for fishery resource investigators，fish knowledge lovers and fishing lovers，and could be used for reference by developers of mobile phone identification software.
