Abstract: Center pivot sprinkler is typical water-saving irrigation equipment.With a high degree of automation，good spray effect and high efficiency，center pivot sprinkler is well popularized in our country recently.Irrigation quality of center pivot sprinkler mainly depends on type and configuration of nozzle used.Development and evolution process of center pivot sprinkler nozzle from medium pressure to low pressure was analyzed，and main performance and parameter characteristics of various types of sprinkler nozzle were combed and summarized.Research and application status of various nozzles in terms of structural characteristics，performance and configuration mode were summarized.Analysis of research status of nozzle and configuration mode of center pivot sprinkler showed that，at present，nozzles used in center pivot sprinkler were generally low-pressure rotary refraction nozzles.Moreover，research on design and performance of this type of sprinkler nozzle at home and abroad was not perfect，so it was urgent to carry out research in relevant fields to promote localization of this type of sprinkler nozzle，so as to meet huge market demand for large-scale sprinkler irrigation in growing large-scale agriculture.
