Abstract:
In order to solve problems of low efficiency and poor effect in auger digging operation,digging test with auger was conducted in the field.By changing auger parameters such as diameter,screw number and rotation speed to carry out digging and soil exit conditions test,characteristic data were measured such as pit shape,throwing soil radius,and soil exit rate.The experimental data were processed using methods such as one-way analysis of variance and factorial design analysis of variance.Results showed that:when rotation speed was constant,diameter of auger increased,throwing soil radius and soil exit rate increased.Increasing rotation speed would increase throwing soil radius and soil exit rate.The double-headed double auger had a smaller throwing soil radius and higher soil exit rate than double-headed single auger.The analysis showed that different parameters of auger had a significant impact on soil exit situation.The research results could provide theoretical support for actual digging operation of auger digging machine.
