Abstract: Agricultural equipment is an important scientific and technological support for stabilizing grain output and advancing rural revitalization in new era．Path of tackling key problems and innovation of domestic agricultural equipment were studied by analyzing global situation, domestic demand and difficulties．Autonomous and controllable development goals, and key areas for high performance intelligent major agricultural equipment research were proposed．These key areas included basic common technologies, field production, agricultural power, seedlings, factory facilities, smart agriculture, and other technologies or equipment．It provided reference for relevant technology management departments to optimize research layout．
