Abstract: Safety is the premise of social development，it is an important guarantee for people′s property safety and healthy，and it is the foundation of social stability and development.For modern college，they will encounter danger in their ordinary life.Therefore，cultivation of safety consciousness is very important for college students.The connotation of safety for college students was introduced.Combined with the necessity of safety education，main contents of safety education in colleges and universities were discussed.Paths and measures for safety education were put forward.
