Abstract: Industry of new variety breeding，elite breeding，detection and processing of seeds are one of the most potential domain in 21th century.Domestic and overseas research status of variety breeding mechanization was introduced from all aspects of crop breeding test area management.Necessity and significance of mechanical field breeding test of wheat were elaborated through analyzing application on each stage of breeding field for existing breeding machinery of wheat. Problems of field breeding test machinery in China and development direction of plot breeding machinery were analyzed.
