Abstract: With continuous development of tobacco agriculture，the use of plastic film has become an important means to ensure high and stable yield of tobacco.However，with extension of plastic film mulching cultivation period，the amount of residual film in soil increased gradually.It posed serious threat to sustainable development of tobacco agriculture.A new type of tobacco residual film picking up machine was designed creatively.Soil with containing film was upgraded to a platform to make intelligent air treatment by using mechanical and electrical integration technology and aerodynamics theory.It could pick up surface and underground residual film at the same time.Structure of this residual film picking up machine was simple，and it had broad application prospects.
