Abstract: The existing vegetable seedling transplanter for field have characteristics of huge volume，larger operating radius，internal combustion engine，and exhaust emission.These made it hard to work directly in greenhouse.The horizontal side hanging structure was adopted in side mounted electric transplanter system，it was small and easy to turn，DC motor asits transplanting power，it wouldn′t produce waste gas，so it wouldn′t pollute the air in greenhouse.These characteristics made side mounted electric transplanter more suitable for transplanting in greenhouse，not only planting efficiency was improved，but also labor intensity and labor cost were reduced.
