Abstract: Potato is the fourth largest staple food crop in China，and its planting area and yield rank first in the world.However，low level of planting mechanization has become an important factor restricting development of potato industry.Research status of potato planting machinery at home and abroad was analyzed.Performance characteristics of some typical products were introduced.Key technical problems of domestic potato planting machinery were pointed out.It provided reference for relevant units to develop potato planting machinery suitable for China′s national conditions.
